The Tale of Johnny Townmouse, FIRST EDITION, first printing ('N' missing from end of 'London' in the imprint), half-title, frontispiece and 26 colour plates, black and white vignette on title, front boards grubby and slightly marked, the spine is split arbiter top but firm, publisher's grey boards with inset colour pictorial panel to upper cover, pictorial endpapers, slightly cocked. A neat inscription to dear little Jack from auntie Biddy Feb 1919. A few small marks on a few pages but internally the pages are very good and the book is tight in the binding.
