A historical romance fictional account of the life of Lady Jane Grey from her short time as Queen of England through her time in the Tower and ending with her death by execution. The original novel was illustrated with engravings and woodcuts but this cheaper edition published in the late 19th to early 20th edition is not illustrated. Red decorated cover is in overall good condition with bumps to corners and some light soiling. Internal pages are generally clean although there are occasional smudges in margin, as with example photo of pages 66/67. Pages 75-80 have a bumps/nicks to page edge as per photo.
