The Wonder Book of Science, hardback, published by Ward Lock in good condition. From the contents of the book the publication date would appear to be c1930 and without an edition number at the front could possibly be a first edition. The binding has loosened a little but there has been no loss of integrity between the 2 end boards and the text block, or within the text block itself. End boards are a little bumped at the corners and there are minimal abrasion marks along the edges (see photos), common with these books. No pen or pencil markings within the book. Measures 25cm by 19cm by 2.5cm. 256 pages with nearly 300 b/w illustrations and 12 colour plates. No dust jacket but still a very nice copy.
