I am selling a new thermostat. The base of the thermostat was a new Mahle thermostat. It was reworked by the thermostat manufacturer to open at 90*C. The only thing that cannot be plugged in is that it does not have a heater. It can cause an chceck engine light on (in some situations). It allows longer trouble-free operation of the engine and transmission as these components will not overheat as much. There may be a slight increase in combustion. I have one in my BMW e65 3.6 liter and recommend it.
