Crim PhD. took a year sabbatical from his position at Colorado State University and lived at Maharishi International University in Fairfield, Iowa with his wife and daughter. During that year, he participated in the Creating Coherence Program, worked on staff and studied MIU and the Fairfield community. After returning to CSU, he wrote this book about his experiences at MIU (now the Maharishi University of Management) and in the Transcendental Meditation movement
