This widely illustrated, very rare book is written in Afrikaans. Christianity was originally introduced to the Griqua at Griquatown by missionaries from the London Missionary Society. The most famous of which are Dr David Livingstone who married the daughter of another missionary, Robert Moffat, based at Kuruman (north of Griquatown) and Rev John Campbell.
