Vintage Perlmutt Perlenkette

A very unusual necklace of highly polished abalone/mother of pearl, in a light coffee colour with small glass pearl beads separating the larger oval beads. I would say that these are from the 1950's or 1960's. They are in fantastic condition for a vintage necklace although the original clasp is very degraded so I would say they could be restrung and brought back to their former glory. They are 18"/46 cms long.
