The gallery is pleased to be able to offer for a sale a stunning collection of paintings, drawings and prints by the Scottish artist William Daniel Clyne 1922-1980. Clyne was the brother of the artist Thora Clyne and his work is represented in many public and private collections. His style is very modernist, and his artist flair shows through in every work of art. This is a lovely example of Clyne's early work, depicting a study of trees. The work is executed in ink and wash and measures 14x11 inches and comes unframed. The work is signed and came from the artists studio and it is in studio condition. It is dated 1949.
