Soft Cover penguin classic from 1945. Shelf wear to both covers and spine, which have foxing, smudging, grazing to all edges and small tears to spine ends and along the top edge of the back cover, which also has a small piece missing, approximately 5 mm across. Text block edge has smudging and foxing, also heavy foxing to 1st and last few pages, see photos. Pages have age tanning to edges and occasional spot of foxing also to page edges, otherwise pages are clean and in good condition with sound hinges. A good reading copy in over good condition.
