Two large format hard cover books with unclipped dust jackets. Dust jackets have shelf wear, with creases and curls along all edges, small areas of damage at spine ends and corners and sun fading to spine. Both covers have scratches and smudges, volume 2 has some light pen marks in blue ink - see photo. Blue boards in very good condition, gilt decoration also in very good condition. Text blocks have light foxing to edges and age tanning to pages. Pages otherwise clean and in very good condition, intact and with sound hinges. Beautifully illustrated with mostly b/w and occasional colour photos throughout.
