World War II With Wingate in Burma David Halley 1st Royal Navy POW. This book was found in the property of Lt Commander LP Walford R.N. who was the Senior Navigator on HMS Bermuda who was sent in 1945 to Japan to liberate the POWs from the Japanese. Inside the front cover it is stamped RN Air Station April 1945 A Culham, Argus library. The book is a 1st edition. No dust cover but book is in good condition. This book is about the adventures of Sgt Tony Aubry against the Japs in Burma. It must’ve been an enjoyable read on the way back to England after the cruel treatment they had received from the Japanese. A very rare book with its provenance Low starting price
