This is a nice reproduction of an original World War Two photo showing a torpedo prepared to be loaded into the bomb bay of a US Navy TBF (or TBM) Avenger dive bomber. The Avenger had two designations, the Grumman manufactured versions were TBF, while the General Motors versions were TBM.
